Germane to my 'Retired Journeyman Writer trek' is to embed in my writings The Message of The Gospel. There, I said it.

That should not be a surprise to those that know me... and it should not be surprising, either, to those who pick up a copy of DACLAXVIA, because I openly dub the story as 'a sci-fi thriller turned spiritual'. After all, this tale is one of Biblical proportions, especially considering it rides the back of The Apocalypse as its underlying mounted subject.

As a perk to my FB friends, I want to offer you a free sample of the audiobook version this morning in which one of the story's protagonist siblings of the Manstead family, Max, is struggling to come to grips with believing in the existence of God.

At this point in the story, you find out that Max is fresh off a traumatic and eerie meeting with The Benefactor (Daclaxvia N. Kesar) of The Nascent Medical Institute during a personal conference in Dax's downtown Chicago facility.

Utterly shaken by that encounter, Max drives to his parents home to share his experience and to reach out with the changes that have cascaded upon his heart in an unexpected avalanche of unwanted emotions and philosophical wrangling's in his soul.

I'll leave this short post with the link for you to audibly sit in at the dining room table of the Manstead family, to hear the heart of a staunch and prideful atheistic materialist intellectual wrestle with what he has seen and what he does not want to consider... yet, is forced to consider, nonetheless, if he will remain intellectually honest.

One of my hope's for The Novel: DACLAXVIA is that it may spark similar inner conflicts in readers who have fought against the inborn draw to 'believe'... an element which is hardwired into the human construct.

Ready for a pre-dinner conversation?
