NEW Series: 'Fables of Old Brought to Light for Children'
From the heart and mind of author David J. Liebherr comes a series that brings the timeless fables of ages past into the light for modern early readers to learn from and enjoy.

Each book in this series reimagines the classic characters and moral lessons of bygone days, anthropomorphizing them into vibrant story figures who embody “the moral of the story” in a consistent iambic-tetrameter rhyming cadence. The Seuss-like rhythm and Golden Book charm carry these tales straight into the hearts and minds of children—whether read aloud with a parent or enjoyed independently in cozy, entertaining moments of discovery.

The 'Filmore' Series:
A unique hybrid teaching book/reader
designed for small groups and classrooms.

Filmore's Mission is to Both Entertain and Educate Kids at the Pivotal Pre-Adolescent Stage, Giving them Clear Lessons Regarding Coming-of-Age Personal, Character, Moral and Social Issues. To help educators and parents accomplish this mission we have created a free download resource page with teaching materials like coloring pages, word searches, crossword puzzles and quizzes that reinforce the lessons and act as a springboard to good healthy discussions about these important topics. See the resource page here: Resources

Filmore's 'life lessons' are aimed at a very specific pre-adolescent window of personal development that begins around 6 years old until just about 9 years old, during which 'kid's aren't kids anymore' as far as their ability to grasp more nuanced concepts like the importance of moral character, individual purpose in life, the value of personhood and complex subjects like objective truth and the real deeper guiding meaning and power of love. This is an often-missed age range in children's books and thus a missed opportunity to help kids intentionally grasp foundational and propositional directives that they can develop and hold on to before the peer pressure, faddish social-engineering (that often starts in middle school) and the challenges and changes of puberty set in. The picture-book format, hilarious illustrations and straightforward messages are just perfect to bring these lessons home to kid's hearts and minds.
